The bride-elect is a graduate of Conrad Weiser High School and the University of Pgh, where she received a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Human Genetics at the University of Pittsburgh, Graduate School of Public Health.
Her fiancé is a graduate of North Allegheny High School and the University of Pittsburgh, where he received a Bachelor's degree in History and a Master's degree in the Art of Teaching. He is currently employed as a substitute teacher at North Allegheny School District.
