The Sinking Of Their Love
It started high afloat
Never to sink or drown
No mast could blow it away
No anchor could keep it down
Even the gales of the North
Could not stop their unwavering love
And the submarines that scoped them out
Could never ever rise above
Not to mention the waves of the sea
Dare to compete with their mighty splash
That they showered all over each other
But eventually would dry up and crash
And injure the bearings inside
That they built up for so many years
Causing the stern and the bow to break
Being damaged beyond repairs
Yes their ship had sunk to the bottom
And no Coast Guard could pull them back up
And so the drowning of their old found love
Was never again to raise the cup
